THE PROGRAM
You will begin your sculptural journey by focusing on scaled torsos, both female and male, allowing you to gain precise skills in the representation of human forms and proportions. This initial stage is crucial to developing a detailed understanding of anatomy and the variations between different bodies.
As you progress, the program will lead you to explore more challenging projects that include full scale figures, starting with static poses. This foundation will prepare you for the next level of complexity: executing dynamic poses. These practices will help you capture not only the physical form, but also the essence of movement and expression of the human body.
This diploma not only focuses on the development of technical skills, but also on fostering a deep understanding and artistic sensitivity towards the human figure, preparing you to create works that are both technically impressive and emotionally resonant. The student must have successfully completed the Portrait Sculptor diploma to begin the Human Figure Sculptor I diploma.
